Scope of Work:

2004's The Terminal was set entirely inside New York's JFK airport but Steven Spielberg was not able to find an airport that would allow him to film for an extended period of time. Instead, a replica was built inside of a hangar at LA/Palmdale Airport. This mock airport featured curved walls and allowed for a spidercam to capture shots all along the length and height of the set.
